The Maternity Care Centre (Budapest, Hungary) since 30 years has a special program with the aim to discover the causes of resultless pregnancies and of their prevention.

The sperm test makes one of the most important part of this program. We did approximately 1000 examinations every years. In cases of childless couples or couples complaining resultless pregnancies, the character of the sperms — in fertilization point of view — is getting wronger during the mentioned time space.

The azoopermia and also the high degree of oligozoospermia showed surprizing high frequency. The testicular retention was considered as the reason of the azoospermia, but the „Sertolly-cells-only" syndrom, the condition after well treated ALL, and XXY karyopathies were not rare.

The high degree oligozoospermia was in connection mostly with varicocele. There are not negligable peristatic factors (truck drivers, pilots, uranium miners, industrial ultra sound and X ray workers) workers in hot environment: smelting workers, bakers.

Men with kryptorchidism often were pupils of statecare intitutions.

The second important observation is the increasing number of testicular tumors.
